0 CVE-2026-80156 is a critical path traversal vulnerability in the LANTRONIX SLC8000 and related devices' web management portal upload endpoint. Authenticated attackers can exploit improper filename validation to write arbitrary data outside the intended directory, leading to remote code execution. This affects all firmware versions of SLB882/SLCx-03/SLCx-02 and versions before v9.7.0.5 for SLC8000 and before v9.7.0.1 for EMG8500/EMG7500. Exploitation can result in complete loss of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the device and potentially impact connected serial devices.
