The Frontend File Manager Plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with Subscriber-level access to delete arbitrary files on the server. This is caused by a case-sensitive bypass in parameter sanitization, enabling attackers to overwrite file paths and trigger deletion of sensitive files such as wp-config.php. The vulnerability affects versions up to and including 23.6. Exploitation could lead to full site takeover.
