Multiple security vulnerabilities affecting Mozilla Thunderbird as packaged in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.6 Extended Update Support have been addressed. These include issues such as incorrect boundary conditions, sandbox escapes, integer overflows, memory safety bugs, privilege escalations, denial-of-service, information disclosure, same-origin policy bypass, spoofing, use-after-free, and mitigation bypass across various components of the underlying Firefox engine used by Thunderbird. The update fixes these vulnerabilities in Thunderbird version 140.11.0-1.el9_6 for the ppc64le architecture and other supported platforms.
