Django versions 5.2 before 5.2.15 and 6.0 before 6.0.6 contain a vulnerability in the UpdateCacheMiddleware component where Cache-Control response directives are not matched case-insensitively. This flaw allows remote attackers to read cached responses that were incorrectly cached due to uppercase or mixed-case Cache-Control headers. Earlier unsupported Django versions may also be affected. The issue has a low severity rating and no official patch or remediation level is currently confirmed.
