CVE-2026-84197: CWE-295 Improper certificate validation in Eclipse Foundation Eclipse DittoCVE-2026-84197 0 Eclipse Ditto's Node.js JavaScript client versions from 2.0.0 to 3.9.0 and the predecessor package from 1.0.0 to 2.1.0 have a vulnerability where the WebSocket transport disables TLS certificate validation by hard-coding rejectUnauthorized: false. This allows an attacker who can intercept the connection to present any certificate, bypass validation, and potentially read or manipulate authentication credentials and protocol messages.
