0 CVE-2026-84994 is a high-severity vulnerability in the Qwik JavaScript framework affecting versions prior to @builder.io/qwik 1.20.0 and @qwik.dev/core 2.0.0-beta.37. The issue arises from server-side deserialization of JSON where attacker-controlled thenables are not properly rejected before being passed to Promise.resolve. This can cause an unhandled asynchronous rejection that crashes the Node.js process under its default policy. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this by sending a specially crafted request, causing a single server crash or repeated crashes that keep server replicas unavailable. The vulnerability is fixed in the specified versions. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 10/13/2026, 19:00:53 UTC Added: 10/13/2026, 19:23:27 UTC |
