CVE-2026-85485: CWE-79 Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')CVE-2026-85485 0 HTML::FormHandler versions before 0.410002 for Perl contain a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability due to improper escaping of error messages in certain form layouts and wrappers. Specifically, the Table form layout and Bootstrap 2 and 3 wrappers insert error strings directly into HTML without escaping, allowing attacker-controlled input to embed JavaScript in rendered pages. This issue was addressed in version 0.410002, which extended escaping to these layouts and wrappers. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 09/08/2026, 20:09:08 UTC Added: 09/08/2026, 20:22:54 UTC |
