CVE-2026-8599: CWE-79 Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') in mailerpress MailerPress – Email Marketing, Newsletter, Email Automation & WooCommerce EmailsCVE-2026-8599
0

MailerPress WordPress plugin versions up to and including 2. 0. 4 contain a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Campaign HTML Content Field. Authenticated users with author-level or higher privileges can inject malicious scripts that execute in the admin dashboard preview. The public campaign preview endpoint is not affected due to a Content-Security-Policy blocking inline scripts. This vulnerability arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping.
