CVE-2026-86431: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') in thephpleague commonmarkCVE-2026-86431 0 Thephpleague/commonmark versions 2.7.0 up to but not including 2.9.1 contain a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the AttributesExtension. This vulnerability allows an attacker to bypass attribute filtering by prefixing attribute names with a form feed character, causing malicious scripts to be injected into rendered HTML. The flaw also allows unsafe javascript: URIs to bypass restrictions. The issue is fixed in version 2.9.1.
