This vulnerability arises because the renderer emits indentation proportional to the depth of each XML tag, allowing attackers to craft deeply nested Markdown or AST structures that cause quadratic memory consumption and output amplification. This can exhaust server resources and disrupt service availability. The CVSS 4.0 base score is 6.9, indicating a medium severity level.
