CVE-2026-86553 is a high-severity vulnerability in ZTE's ZTESW product involving improper privilege management (CWE-269). The SmartLife app dynamically generates authentication parameters at runtime, which can be exploited by an attacker to call a backend interface and retrieve the real account ID linked to a registered email. By spoofing authentication information and using the target account ID, the attacker can reset the password of the target account without authorization.
