CVE-2026-86597: Insertion of Sensitive Information into Log File in Snowflake Snowflake Connector for PythonCVE-2026-86597 0 CVE-2026-86597 is a vulnerability in Snowflake Connectors including the Python driver that causes sensitive information such as authentication tokens, encryption keys, and SAML assertions to be written to diagnostic log files. This occurs because log redaction did not cover all affected log paths and data types. An attacker with read access to these logs could obtain credentials and keys, potentially allowing unauthorized authentication if the credentials are still valid. The vulnerability affects versions of the Snowflake Connector for Python prior to 4.7.3. A fix is available and users should upgrade and securely delete any sensitive logs generated before the patch.
