CVE-2026-87456 is a medium severity vulnerability in Google Chrome's media component that affects versions prior to 153.0.8010.36. It involves an uninitialized resource that allows a remote attacker, who has already compromised the renderer process, to read memory outside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. This vulnerability does not have a CVSS score assigned and no known exploits in the wild have been reported. Google has published an advisory indicating the issue is addressed in Chrome version 153.0.8010.36.
