0 CVE-2026-87689 is a critical vulnerability in the Metasploit Framework Web Service REST API that allows unauthenticated clients to read, modify, or delete all stored credential records. The flaw exists because two API handlers for updating and deleting credentials do not perform authentication checks, unlike other API routes. This affects all versions up to and including 6.5.4. The issue is fixed in version 6.5.5 by adding proper authentication calls to these handlers. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 10/13/2026, 00:53:00 UTC Added: 10/13/2026, 01:03:59 UTC |
