CVE-2026-87872: Improper Certificate Validation in Red Hat Red Hat Ceph Storage 5CVE-2026-87872 0 CVE-2026-87872 is a vulnerability in the OCAPI modules (ocapi_command, ocapi_info) of the community.general Ansible collection used with Red Hat Ceph Storage 5. The modules disable TLS certificate validation on every request and do not provide an option to enable it, while sending HTTP Basic-Auth credentials to an HTTPS endpoint. This allows an attacker with network access between the Ansible controller and the OCAPI-managed device to intercept and tamper with communications and capture credentials.
