The Paid Downloads plugin for WordPress (versions up to and including 3.15) contains an arbitrary file upload vulnerability due to missing authorization and file type validation in the admin_request_handler function. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to upload potentially executable files, leading to possible remote code execution. Exploitability is limited on Apache servers with AllowOverride enabled due to .htaccess protections, but remains a risk on servers like nginx, LiteSpeed, or Apache with AllowOverride None.
