The Simple SEO Slideshow WordPress plugin up to version 1.2.8 is vulnerable to stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) via shortcode attributes. Authenticated users with contributor-level access or higher can inject malicious scripts that execute when any user views the affected page. This occurs because input sanitization and output escaping are insufficient, and WordPress KSES does not remove malicious shortcode attribute values on post save.
