CVE-2026-90473 is an integer overflow vulnerability in msgpack-java up to version 0.9.12. It occurs in the MessageUnpacker.skipValue() function when processing MAP32 containers with large element counts. An attacker can supply a MAP32 element count at or above 0x40000000, causing an integer overflow that desynchronizes the parser cursor and leads to attacker-controlled data being returned instead of expected fields.
