0 CVE-2026-93488 is a denial of service vulnerability in Netty's SpdySessionHandler used by Red Hat AMQ Broker 7. The handler accepts an unlimited number of concurrent remote-initiated SPDY streams due to localConcurrentStreams defaulting to Integer.MAX_VALUE and lacking an API to limit this. An attacker can exploit this by sending many SPDY SYN_STREAM frames, causing unbounded memory allocation and potentially crashing the JVM with OutOfMemoryError, impacting service availability. No effective mitigation or fix currently meets Red Hat's criteria for deployment and stability. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 09/18/2026, 11:47:52 UTC Added: 09/18/2026, 12:02:06 UTC |
