A command injection vulnerability exists in spatie Scotty up to version 1.4.4 in the DoctorCommand component. The flaw is in the DoctorCommand::checkSshConnectivity and DoctorCommand::checkRemoteTools functions, where manipulation of the host argument can lead to OS command injection. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely. A fix has been proposed but is not yet merged or officially released.

This manipulation of the argument host causes os command injection. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance.
