A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the WP Maps – Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, Mapbox, Store Locator, Listing, Directory & Filters WordPress plugin. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of the 'location_messages' parameter in all plugin versions up to and including 4.9.4. An attacker with administrator-level access or equivalent custom capability can inject malicious scripts that execute when users access the affected pages.
