CVE-2026-9635: CWE-79 Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') in mythemeshop WP Shortcode by MyThemeShopCVE-2026-9635 0 The WP Shortcode by MyThemeShop WordPress plugin versions up to and including 1.4.17 contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability via the 'title' parameter of the [tab] shortcode. This occurs because the plugin's mts_tabs() function outputs the title attribute directly into HTML without proper escaping. Authenticated users with contributor-level access or higher can exploit this to inject malicious scripts that execute when other users view the affected page. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 6.4, indicating medium severity. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 07/23/2026, 06:52:34 UTC Added: 07/23/2026, 07:37:35 UTC |
