0 The Presto Player plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in all versions up to and including 4.5.1. This vulnerability arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of comment content via the <presto-player> tag. An unauthenticated attacker can inject arbitrary scripts that execute when users view the affected pages. Exploitation requires initial comment approval, but subsequent comments from the same author may be auto-approved by default WordPress settings, enabling persistent exploitation without further admin action.
