CVE-2026-9677: CWE-79 Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in Shariff for WordPressCVE-2026-9677 0 CVE-2026-9677 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Shariff for WordPress plugin up to version 1.0.11. The issue arises because the plugin does not sanitize or escape the shariff_infourl setting before outputting it in frontend HTML via the generateshariff() function. This flaw allows high privilege users, such as administrators, to inject malicious scripts even when the unfiltered_html capability is disabled, for example in multisite WordPress setups.
