A stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the WP YouTube Lyte WordPress plugin versions before 1.7.31. The flaw arises because some attributes of YouTube embed blocks are not properly escaped before being output in HTML attributes when rendering the block. This allows users with contributor-level roles to inject malicious scripts that persist and execute in other users' browsers.
