0 CVE-2026-9703 is a vulnerability in Grafana's data source proxy that fails to enforce role-based access control on write requests to Loki data sources. This allows users with only Viewer role privileges to create, modify, or delete Loki alerting rules via the proxy. The changes affect all users of the Loki data source, not just the attacker. Both Grafana OSS and Enterprise editions are affected. Loki itself is not vulnerable. Exploitation requires an authenticated Viewer account and a configured Loki data source.
