CVE-2026-9704: Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input in Red Hat Red Hat Build of KeycloakCVE-2026-9704 0 CVE-2026-9704 is a vulnerability in Red Hat Build of Keycloak where an authenticated low-privilege user can send an oversized subject_token JWT to the TokenEndpoint. If the token exceeds 4000 characters, it is silently dropped, causing the system to revert to client credentials. This fallback allows the user to escalate privileges by gaining the permissions of the client's service account. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 6. 8, indicating medium severity.
