0 CVE-2026-97336 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the CMB2 WordPress plugin affecting all versions up to and including 2.13.0. The vulnerability arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the 'file_list' field type. It allows unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious scripts that execute when a user accesses a page containing the injected content. Exploitation requires that an integrating plugin or theme registers a file_list field on a publicly accessible front-end form or user meta box, as CMB2 itself does not expose these fields by default.
