In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ieee802154: admin-gate legacy LLSEC dump operations In net/ieee802154/netlink.c,… (CVE-2026-72049)CVE-2026-72049
0

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ieee802154 subsystem allowed any local user to read raw AES-128 LLSEC keys from the kernel keytable on any WPAN network device with an installed LLSEC key. This was due to legacy netlink dump operations lacking proper permission gating, exposing sensitive cryptographic keys. The issue has been resolved by introducing permission flags requiring administrative privileges for these operations.
