CVE-2026-19879: Incorrect Conversion between Numeric Types in Red Hat Red Hat build of Apache Camel for Spring Boot 4CVE-2026-19879 0 A vulnerability in Undertow's HTTP response header writing path allows a remote attacker to supply specific Unicode characters in user-controlled input that an application places into response headers. The writeString() method silently narrows 16-bit Unicode characters to 8-bit bytes, potentially truncating characters into ASCII control characters or special symbols. This can lead to limited integrity impact or information disclosure if the application does not properly sanitize input. Undertow prevents HTTP response splitting, but the truncation risk remains for unsanitized headers. No official patch is currently confirmed. Mitigation involves robust input validation and restricting header values to printable ASCII characters.
