In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSD: Handle layout stid in nfsd4_drop_revoked_stid() nfsd4_drop_revoked_stid()… (CVE-2026-74316)CVE-2026-74316 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's NFS server (NFSD) component was resolved involving improper handling of layout state IDs (stids) in the function nfsd4_drop_revoked_stid(). The function lacked handling for the SC_TYPE_LAYOUT case, causing certain revoked layout stids to remain in internal data structures without proper cleanup. This could lead to resource leakage until the client is destroyed. The fix involves removing the layout stid from the per-client list and properly releasing references to allow cleanup.
