In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched/psi: Shut down rtpoll_timer in psi_cgroup_free()… (CVE-2026-74594)CVE-2026-74594 0 A race condition vulnerability in the Linux kernel's pressure stall information (PSI) subsystem related to the handling of the rtpoll_timer in psi_cgroup_free() has been resolved. The issue involved a race between scheduling and destroying the rtpoll timer, which could lead to the timer function running on freed memory. The fix binds the timer's lifetime to the cgroup and shuts it down synchronously during free, preventing use-after-free conditions.
