A vulnerability in the Linux kernel ALSA us144mkii driver was resolved involving a redundant call to usb_anchor_urb in the capture_urb_complete() function. This redundant call corrupts the anchor's doubly-linked list and inflates the URB reference count, leading to a use-after-free condition during stream stop, suspend, or disconnect operations. The fix removes the redundant usb_anchor_urb call from the resubmit path.
