A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's TUN network driver related to skb headroom calculation has been resolved. The function tun_get_user() improperly uses tun->align for skb headroom and packet data linearization, which can cause an underflow and wraparound in skb buffer allocation. This could lead to skb->data being placed outside the allocated buffer head. The fix bounds the headroom to safe limits and adjusts header processing to ensure safe access for nonlinear skbs.
