A local user with eBPF TC hook access could attach a tc filter that truncates packets and redirects them to a batadv interface. The code assumed the presence of a minimum Ethernet header length, which could lead to out-of-bounds reads if the packet was truncated. The fix ensures batadv_interface_tx() verifies sufficient data is available for the Ethernet header rather than relying on a minimum header length assumption.
