Io.netty:netty codec stomp: Netty: STOMP CONNECT Frame Header Injection in Netty (CVE-2026-59920)CVE-2026-59920 0 A vulnerability in Netty's STOMP codec encoder (io.netty.handler.codec.stomp.StompSubframeEncoder) allows injection of additional STOMP headers via newline characters in CONNECT frame header values. This occurs because the encoder skips escaping and validation of newline characters for CONNECT and CONNECTED commands, enabling header injection. The vulnerability can lead to authentication bypass due to injected headers. It affects versions 4.2.12.Final and earlier with codec-stomp. The issue arises from improper neutralization of CRLF sequences (CWE-93). Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 07/22/2026, 21:52:27 UTC Added: 07/22/2026, 23:22:59 UTC |
