An improper handling of highly compressed SAMLResponse data in the esaml_binding component of dropbox esaml allows unauthenticated attackers to exhaust server memory and crash the Erlang VM. The vulnerability arises because the system inflates compressed data without limiting output size, leading to excessive memory consumption and denial of service. This affects esaml versions from 0.1.0 onward. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 10/22/2026, 09:31:48 UTC Added: 10/22/2026, 17:16:32 UTC |
