GHSA-4463-xxf2-768jCVE-2026-53149
0

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's Thunderbolt driver involves improper bounds checking in the __tb_property_parse_dir() function. Specifically, the function fails to verify that the sum of content_offset and content_len fits within the block length for the root directory case. This can lead to reading beyond the allocated property block when the root directory length is near or exceeds block_len - 2. This issue has been addressed by adding a bounds check to reject directories whose content extends past the block.
