A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's BPF subsystem was fixed in the function bpf_find_vma(). The issue arises when bpf_find_vma() reads task->mm and attempts to lock it without holding a proper reference, allowing a concurrent task exit to free the mm_struct, leading to a use-after-free condition. This vulnerability affects kernel code handling foreign tasks and can cause memory corruption or system instability.
