A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's NTB transport subsystem was resolved by rejecting oversized transmit (TX) buffers. The flaw involved the ntb_process_tx() function handling oversized buffers incorrectly, leading to a memory leak as buffers were neither freed nor properly handled. The fix ensures oversized buffers are rejected early in ntb_transport_tx_enqueue(), preventing the leak.
