A race condition vulnerability in the Linux kernel's MIPI I3C HCI driver was fixed. The function i3c_hci_addr_to_dev() accessed a device list without proper locking in an interrupt context, allowing concurrent modifications that could lead to use-after-free or crashes. The fix replaces the device list traversal with a dedicated lookup table protected by a lock, ensuring safe access during interrupt handling.
