The issue occurs in the wacom_wac_queue_insert function when it improperly handles an empty kfifo buffer, leading to corrupted internal state and an out-of-bounds memory write of up to 3842 bytes beyond a 256-byte buffer. The fix adds a condition to prevent kfifo_skip from being called on an empty fifo and validates input sizes to reject oversized reports.
