CVE-2024-50187 is a vulnerability in the Linux kernel's drm/vc4 driver where the active performance monitor is not properly stopped before being destroyed. This leads to a stale pointer being retained and later used after the associated process has terminated and its performance monitors have been freed. This can cause a denial of service due to invalid memory access.
