OpenChoreo API server versions before 1.1.6 and between 1.2.0-m.1 and before 1.2.3 contain an authorization flaw in the exec and wirelogs endpoints. These endpoints authorize requests based on the caller-supplied project parameter rather than the actual owning project of the target component. This allows an authenticated user with a project-scoped exec or wirelogs view grant on any single project to execute commands and read wirelogs of components owned by other projects within the same namespace. The vulnerability does not cross namespace boundaries but enables cross-project command execution and data access within a namespace.
