The D-Link DIR-605L Hardware Revision B2 device contains a hardcoded telnet backdoor that allows unauthenticated local network attackers to gain root shell access. The device runs a telnet daemon at boot with a fixed username and password, enabling full administrative control. This device is End-of-Life and will not receive patches for this vulnerability.
