In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfs: Fix partial invalidation of streaming-write folio In… (CVE-2026-64157)CVE-2026-64157 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfs subsystem involving incorrect handling of partial invalidation of streaming-write folios has been resolved. The issue occurs in netfs_invalidate_folio() when a partial invalidation overlaps the front of a dirty write cached in a streaming write page. The function incorrectly adjusts the dirty region by setting its start to the start of the invalidation region instead of the end, potentially causing improper tracking of dirty data. This flaw has been fixed by correctly setting the dirty offset to the end of the invalidation region. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 07/19/2026, 18:31:53 UTC Added: 07/19/2026, 19:38:16 UTC |
