This occurs when the function responsible for moving extents does not correctly identify free clusters, potentially leading to data corruption. The issue affects non-auto OCFS2_IOC_MOVE_EXT operations where a physical goal is supplied by userspace. The vulnerability has been resolved by correcting the logic that probes for free clusters and ensuring that occupied clusters are not used for extent movement.
