In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: typec: tcpm: Validate SVID index in svdm_consume_modes() In… (CVE-2026-64330)CVE-2026-64330 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's USB Type-C TCPM driver was resolved by adding validation for the SVID index in the svdm_consume_modes() function. The issue allowed out-of-bounds reads of the pmdata->svids array due to lack of bounds checking on pmdata->svid_index. This could lead to reading adjacent memory fields, including partner-supplied data, potentially allowing a partner device to register an arbitrary SVID.
