The issue occurs in the mlxsw_sp_port_lag_join() function when mlxsw_sp_port_lag_index_get() fails, causing an error return without releasing a previously acquired reference. This missed release could lead to resource leaks. The fix ensures the reference is properly released on error by redirecting to the cleanup code.
