In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf/aux: Fix page UAF in map_range() map_range() reads rb->aux_pages[],… (CVE-2026-64300)CVE-2026-64300 0 A use-after-free (UAF) vulnerability in the Linux kernel's perf subsystem was resolved. The issue occurs in the map_range() function, which reads certain fields without proper synchronization, leading to a race condition between two events sharing a ring buffer. This race can cause a page to be freed while still mapped, resulting in a UAF scenario. The vulnerability was fixed by adding proper locking with rb->aux_mutex during the page walk in map_range().
